Harry Potter: Behind the Stories

Harry Potter at The River-side

To celebrate Halloween UCC Library's The River-side has searched through its collections for material that Harry Potter would like.

Characters Who Are Real: Books by or about the real life people behind the collectible wizard trading cards

Herbology: What would Professor Sprout think of these herbals and plants? Only Hermione can tell you what a herbal is!

Alchemy: It's not just an optional subject for sixth and seventh years! In lieu of Alchemy try Charms with Professor Flitwick or Transfiguration with Professor McGonagall.

Magical Beasts: What are these fantastic beasts and where do I find them? Professor Kettleburn has the answers!

Beedle the Bard: If you don't have access to his tales try these instead!

Quidditch: Is it in Cork or should I travel further afield? Madam Hooch would know!

The River-side Recommends: Hallowe'en blog posts from yesteryear and spooky exhibitions.
