What is Inter Library Loans

When UCC Library does not own a copy of a book or journal the Inter Library Loans service may be able to source these from other Libraries worldwide.

Any patron with a valid Library ID card can apply and there may be a charge depending on the item in question.

Who can use the Service?

Registered UCC Students, UCC Staff Members, External Readers with a current Library Account.

Staff members who do not yet have a library account should complete the Library Registration Form

Before Submitting a request

Please check the UCC Library Catalogue to see if the books or journals are already available in the library.
Check the Journals Portal for electronic journals, as we may already subscribe to a full text version of the article.
The full text of many journals may be available via other resources.
