by Mary Keane on 2019-02-12T12:10:00+00:00 | Comments

The Library’s new 3-D printing service has recently been unveiled.  Available to all UCC staff and students, the library will accept requests for objects to be printed using the library’s PLA-based 3-D printer.

UCC Library supports students and staff in building their capabilities in digital literacy, and is committed to proving new and emerging technologies.  3-D printing allows for low-cost, rapid prototyping and ideation.  UCC’s 3-D printing service is currently available for free
to registered UCC students and staff.
