Laurence Ferlinghetti is an American poet and painter, and co-founder of City Lights Booksellers & Publishers in San Francisco, California:


The collection holds mss letters mostly from Laurence Ferlinghetti, to Ron Whitehead, with illustrations.

The letters are described individually and by date-order.
