New: Academic Integrity libguide

Academic integrity is an essential part of teaching & learning as behavioural integrity is fundamental to functioning in everyday life in society. "The International Center for Academic Integrity defines academic integrity as a commitment, even in the face of adversity, to six fundamental values: honesty, trust, fairness, respect, responsibility, and courage."

Translated into an academic setting, they stand for ethical use of information in your research as defined by the European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity – Reliability, Honesty, Respect & Accountability.

See: UCC Code of Practice on Academic Misconduct.

In our new Academic Integrity libguide, we highlight the issues surrounding the ethical use of information.
