Measuring your Publications' Impact: Home

Find out how you can measure and monitor the impact of your publications

Online Tutorial

MyRI: Measuring your Research Impact is an online tutorial developed by a collaboration between University College Dublin, Dublin City University, Technological University of Dublin and Maynooth University.

Explore & Choose Metrics

With the Metrics Toolkit you can quickly understand what a metric means, how it is calculated, and if it’s good match for your impact question.

While research outputs can take many and diverse forms, the most commonly recognised type is publication. The impact of a publication can be measured qualitatively through peer-review and quantitatively through various metrics. The quantitative measurement of publications is generally referred to as bibliometrics.
