IReL and Open Access: American Chemical Society (ACS)

IReL, the Irish Research eLibrary is a nationally funded electronic research library. IReL also seeks to secure open access agreements with publishers.

Overview

Under the IReL-ACS agreement (2021 - 2025) eligible corresponding authors in participating institutions (including UCC) will, at the time an article is accepted for publication in an ACS journal, be invited to publish the article open access at no extra cost. The agreement covers all peer reviewed articles accepted for publication in any ACS journal.

The agreement also includes read access to all of the American Chemical Society journals.

See the full list of all eligible journals under the current IReL Agreements: http://bit.ly/irelOAjournals
