From 1 Jan 2025, authors can no longer avail of IReL-funded APCs to publish with APA. The new agreement does however allow eligible authors who wish to publish Open Access with APA to avail of a 30% discount on APCs.
This agreement gives current staff and students at participating institutions access to PsycINFO and PsycArticles.
Our previous agreement with APA (2024-2027) included OA publishing privileges for author. This has now ended. From 01 Jan 2025, authors will not be offered IReL-funded OA on acceptance. However, the agreement does allow eligible authors who wish to publish OA a 30% discount on APCs.
