European Union Publications in the  Boole Library are held in the European Documentation Section (EDC) located on the second 2nd Floor.

The Official Publications area contains materials and publications from the EU since 1972

Material in this area appears on the library catalogue.  
Materials which are classified as journals or serials will have the call number
Serials EDC and the location Boole Q+2 OPC EDC Serials.

Materials which have been classified as books will have the prefix EDC in front of the call number e.g.The European environment state and outlook 2015 : synthesis report / European Environment Agency is shelved at  EDC 363.7 EURO with the location Boole Q+2 Officail Publications.

EU Bookshop  is an online bookshop, library and archive of publications dating back to 1952. It contains 100,000 titles and 190,000 corresponding electronic versions (PDFs, e books, CD ROMs, DVDs, etc.) in more than 50 languages, including the 24 official languages of the EU.

EUR-Lex is a gateway to EU Law and provides free access, in the 24 official EU languages, to:

  • the Official Journal of the European Union
  • EU law (EU treaties, directives, regulations, decisions, consolidated legislation, etc.)
  • preparatory acts (legislative proposals, reports, green and white papers, etc.)
  • EU case-law (judgements, orders, etc.)
  • international agreements
  • EFTA documents
  • other public documents.

European Union Open Data Portal is the single point of access to a growing range of data from the institutions and other bodies of the European Union (EU). Data are free for you to use and reuse for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

European Commission Central Library with fulltext links to reports, journals and books

Eurostat provides the European Union with statistics at European level that enable comparisons between countries and regions.

Voxeurop a multilingual online media outlet created by journalists to foster discussion on EU related topics.
