UCC Library uses the 'Dewey Decimal' system. The main classification number of relevance to Film and Screen Media is 791.43 (Public performances).
Other relevant numbers include 300s for Social Sciences (e.g. censorship) and 800s for Literature.

DVDs of films are shelved on Q+3, next to the Multimedia section. They are given the classification number N 791.43, followed by the first 4 letters of the title of the film. They can be borrowed for 3 days.
Finding Feature Films in the Library Catalogue
In the Library Catalogue do an Advanced Search by Subject for Feature films. You can then view the full list of films, or select by country.
Use the Library Catalogue to find DVDs. Search by title or keyword and then ‘Modify Search’ to material type ‘Video/DVD’.
