About the Collection

The collection contains 1 original poster and 26 reprinted ones. The posters were originally produced by the poet Tom Pickard for his series of Morden Tower readings and are reflective of the counterculture graphic anarchy of the sixties. The reprinted posters were produced in 2016 and are a limited-edition reprint printed on archive acid free paper with acid free ink, in the original full size: 29 x 19 inches.

The original: Original 1971 vintage limited edition (30 issued in total).

Biographical History

Tom Pickard (1946-) was born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England and co-founded the Morden Tower Reading Series there in the 1960s.

Provenance

The Morden Tower series was acquired from Tom Pickard.
