Notebook used to record various items of farm expenditure including servants wages, stores of pewter and brass items and also sheep killed, e.g. 6th May 1853 “31 Pewter platers, a little salet dish an old wratt broken dish 3 great flagons…3 chamber potts” also “Deboraghs year began at Candlemas 1654 and I ow her 3 shillings for the year 1653”.

2. 1768 – 1775
Stockbook recording wages and payments in kind to workers in different townlands, along with a record of milk sold and sheep killed or otherwise lost or injured. Details also payments from sales by herders given to Robert Uniacke FitzGerald. The cover is made from an indenture of [Mortgage] between John, Earl of Egmont and Robert Uniacke FitzGerald . A loose page (7) details Holydays between 29 Sept to 25 March 1775 which employees were entitled to have free from work.

Bundle of certificates attesting to the validity of 40 shilling freeholds held by various persons in Cork County, granted at a Sessions of the Peace, held at The Kings Old Castle Cork, on the 10th and 11th October 1809, and the 3rd May 1810.

4. 1821 – 1828
Pocket notebook used to record an “Account of Expense of Farm Offices built at Corkbegg AD 1821”. Also records expenses incurred in building a “Mansion House” at Corkbeg in 1824 – 1828. All expenditure is noted, 18th April “paid Tradesmen and labourers bill in full to the 14th instant 7.17.5”; 22 June 1827 “freight of Grates from Bristol 2.11.10.” Total expenditure on the farm offices came to £1472.1.2½, while the house came to £7585.19.3.
