IAA
The Irish Academy of Audiology was founded in 2011. The IAA replaces the all the functions of the Irish Society of Audiology (ISA).
Irish Deaf Society
The Irish Deaf Society is the largest deaf-led organisation in Ireland. It seeks to achieve and promote the equality and rights of deaf people. It provides classes for deaf people and has lots of information and advice for parents.
ISHAA
The Irish Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists is a society which represents clinical and hearing aid audiologists working in the private hearing aid sector in the Republic of Ireland.
Speech and Language Therapy at UCC
The Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences provides a qualifying undergraduate degree in Speech and Language therapy (Speech Pathology) accredited by the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists (IASLT); along with the clinical hours required for practice as a Speech and Language therapist in the Republic of Ireland.
Sharing the Journey
Sharing the Journey is an independent organisation established by parents of deaf and hard-of-hearing children. It provides information and support to other parents.
Sound Advice
Sound Advice (previously called Irish Deaf Kids) gives advice about hearing technologies and digital tools for young children and students. It also advises parents, educators and others on using hearing technologies.
