Collections of 18th and 19th century topographical prints containing images of landscapes, towns, cities, buildings, harbours, and monuments. Irish prints depict locations across Ireland and are arranged by county. Non-Irish prints are arranged by country and include locations in Belgium, England, Italy, Scotland, and elsewhere.

Items from the collection must be requested in advance.
They must be used in the Rare Books Reading Room in Special Collections & Archives.

As many items are annotated the individual copies of each work are considered unique, therefore please fill in the appropriate form before taking photographs or scanning pages.
As some items may be fragile please check with Special Collections & Archives' staff if photography or scanning is possible.
In addition if reprographics are required for publication then permission to use the material must be sought from the Special Collections Librarian.
30 December 2020- 31 January 2021: As per Irish Government direction from midnight 30 December 2020 all counties are placed on Level 5 under the Plan for Living with COVID-19. The advice is: Stay at home with certain exceptions. Please note this time frame may be extended.
Update: 7 January 2020: Due to reduced staff presence in the Library, we are not accepting any new requests for Special Collections' items on Scan & Deliver. Existing requests will be fulfilled shortly. The Library will continue to review services throughout the coming days.
Previous appointment services in Special Collections and Archives are unavailable during Level 5.
