The Evening Echo was founded by Thomas Crosbie in 1892 as a late edition paper to supplement The Cork Examiner.

It continues to be produced today, and its website can be found here.

Special Collections does not hold any print copy of the Evening Echo, but the full text of the paper from May 1896 to the present can be accessed via the Irish Newspaper Archives database.

In addition, UCC Library holds microfilm copies of issues from 2015 to 2020.
